YOU’VE GOT TO BE YOLKING

First there was the condom, then the sex toy… and now you can apply your make-up with a hard-boiled EGG, says beauty blogger

Mum-of-three Esther Gbudje said the make-up tutorial had her daughter in hysterics

FIRST came the condom tutorial, then the sex toy, and now a make-up artist has shocked yet again - with her video showing how to apply your foundation with a hard boiled EGG.

Yes, you heard correctly. It's cheaper than most make-up sponges and doesn't need to be washed - but the whole thing is slightly bizarre.

Mum-of-three Esther Gbudje said the whole process had her daughter Sienna in hysterics, but the finished look does leave her skin looking flawless.

Posting her tutorial video on Instagram, Ester wrote: "I have seen loads of beauty hacks using different things as blending sponge like an apple, kitchen scourer, pads, even condoms.

"So I took it a notch by using a HARD BOILED EGG.

"Sienna had a filled day laughing so hard she said 'oh Mummy you are crazy and I love it'.

"Well anyway did it work YES it did, would I use it again hmmmm MAYBE. Would you try this hack? Yes or No. Do enjoy the video."

Esther's hack explained:

  • Hard boil an egg
  • Peel off the shell
  • Apply make-up to face in splodges
  • Blend with peeled egg

Esther is not the first to look outside her make-up bag for the perfect beauty blender.

Chloe Morello and Laura Lee used £24 vibrators to help apply their foundation, while The Sun's Fabulous magazine tried using chicken fillets from padded bras.

Just don't use your fingers - unless you want your face to become a breeding ground for germs and bacteria, which will cause spots.

Esther's video has gone viral after sharing it with her 42,000 followers.

It has been viewed more than 180,500 times and racked up hundreds of comments, with a VERY mixed reaction.

Amoona Starr said: "No I will not try this. I will stick to proper make up tools."

While Nash Emmati wrote: "Her face would smell like eggs tho (sic)".

And Ylizas joked: "She probably washed that egg and ate it right after".
