'I’ve shamed myself and my country'

Tattoo Fixers shocked by Welshman’s ‘sheep sh*****’ tattoo that he got at Reading Festival to be patriotic

A WELSHMAN on Tattoo Fixers shocks artists this week with an offensive inking originally designed to celebrate his country.

Callum, 23, explains he got a “sheep shagger” tattoo done at Reading festival last summer to commemorate his heritage, but realised when he got home how offensive it was.

Explaining to horrified receptionist Paisley Billings and body artist Jay Hutton, he said: “I wanted something to celebrate my Welsh heritage, but there were just too many options.

“Daffodils, leeks, every snowman’s best friend Aled Jones.

“In the end I rushed into a decision and thought this was the one.”

Gesturing to the tattoo near his hip, he begs the Tattoo Fixers to help him cover up the design of the cartoon man standing suggestively close to the back of a sheep.

Callum said: “I thought it was hilarious but as soon as the festival hangover got away I realised the tattoo I chose, rather than celebrating Wales, actually insults people.

“I’ve shamed myself and shamed my country.

“I’m worried if I don’t get this fixed I won’t be able to show my face in Wales ever again.

“I just feel like a bit of a t**t really.”

Paisley can’t contain her horror at the tattoo exclaiming: “No, the poor sheep!”

Paisley said that the inking must have really confused Callum's eight-year-old brother

Callum explains his eight-year-old brother asked him what the design meant, and all he could think of to say was that it meant he was Welsh.

Paisley said: “He’s going to go into school thinking that Welsh people put their bits in sheep.”

Jay sets about coming up with a skull design to cover the offending tattoo.

Happy with the design, Callum proceeds to get the tattoo completed, but has to stop during the procedure due to it being too painful.

Callum said: “It’s just a bit tender. I’ll come and get it finished off.”

Jay said: “There’s a little bit of the sheep in the teeth, but we’ll lose that with a bit of shading.”

Callum says he is happy with how it looks so far and the fact the sexual image has been covered.

It wasn't the first tattoo that has shocked the professionals.

Last month the Tattoo Fixers were taken aback by a lad’s belly tattoo of a threesome labelled ‘Me, your mum and Chuck Norris’.

Recently the Tattoo Fixers got a laugh when a lad's tattoo revealed his love of Porn Hub.

Tattoo Fixers is on E4 on Tuesday night at 9pm
