Blind Date is back and this is how you can apply… but you’ll have to hurry
BLIND Date is soon to hit our screens again after 13 years off air.
If you fancy taking part, the producers are still looking for contestants but you’ll have to be quick.
The deadline for the new Channel 5 show is March 12.
If you're aged 18 or over and live in the UK, all you need to do is send an email to [email protected] for your chance to have a ‘lorra’ laughs on the show – and maybe find love.
The original Blind Date, presented by Cilla Black, ran for 18 years from November 1985 and was a huge primetime hit.
The format had three potential dates answering questions from behind a screen. The person looking for love then selected their date based on what they said, and it was only then they were revealed.
Previous contestants on the show include Amanda Holden and presenter Jenni Falconer, who made her TV debut on the show in 1994.

The new presenter has not yet been announced, but Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison is the bookies’ favourite but Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has also been rumoured.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun about the new show, Blind Date sources said: “It’s a classic format that will be rebooted to make it young, sexy and modern. Expect sparks to fly.
“In an age of Tinder, you have got to earn the right to love on this show.”
The show will appeal to “a new generation of viewers” and while some of the “traditions of the past” will be kept the same, sources say it will also be updated for modern times.
Blind Date will air on Friday nights on Channel 5.
