Shocking video shows a foot passenger tripping and falling underneath a car ferry as it banks
The impatient traveller tried to jump onto land before the boat docked
A foolish ferry passenger paid the price for their impatience by slipping underneath the boat as it banked.
The traveller was waiting at the front of the boat as it arrived at its destination and tried to jump onto land as it docked.
But the video clip shared on shows that instead of a smooth landing, the man lost his footing and fell onto the ground.
The boat then moves up behind, with the car ramp extended in front.
As it slides along the bank, the man is seen slipping in between the bank and the boat.
Shocked onlookers rushed to help the passenger, but by the time they reached the scene the boat had already banked and the person was trapped underneath.
While the video doesn't show what happened to the man, according to reports he escaped with minimal harm.
