Man’s bizarre claim that Haribo fried eggs are actually UFOs… and people can’t hande it
Facebook went into meltdown after one page claimed that the sweets may not be as they seemed
NO PACKET of Haribo Starmix is complete without the little fried egg sweets.
But one man has claimed that the sweet treats might not be miniature version of the breakfast favourite after all.
The Facebook page shared a picture of an open bag of Haribo and made the startling claims.
They wrote: "Wait guys, Haribo starmix?? It's not an egg, it's a UFO."
He also shared shocked face emojis, clearly startled by his revelation.
But his declaration sparked an angry backlash on Facebook from people who couldn't believe his claims.
One person wrote: "Is everyone off their nut, aye. It's called Starmix, but wit does a heart, a ring, a cola bottle or a fkn bear have to do with space. It's an egg fs."
Another said: "The adverts with the kids call it the eggy one so I'm not accepting this."

With one person claiming: "I know we all have a lot going on at the minute but can we all just take a moment to deal with this pls."
However, there were some who did agree that the eggs may well be UFOs with one man explaining that the gummy bears were also 'little astronauts'.
But when Haribo were asked to clear up the confusion, they did seem to ease people's fears when they confirmed the sweets are meant to be eggs.
A Haribo spokesman told : "This seems to have people a little fry-ed, but we can confirm that even though they look like flying saucers, Haribo Starmix does in fact contain tasty eggs, as well as our other popular and well-known sweet pieces that have been brought together in one bag."
