Getting a holiday bargain is a tricky business as cheap hotel rooms usually go hand in hand with cold and rainy weather.
But there is often a perfect moment in the calendar when cut-price rates start, but the weather is still fairly decent.
have looked at the most popular travel destinations on their site and worked out the average cost per hotel room and average temperature every month in each country.
They then used a graph to plot what point the prices went down , while the weather remained manageable.

According to the graph, the best time of the year to visit Spain is early spring, as the temperature in March is an average of 12 degrees and the average room costs £121, or April when the temperature is 13 degrees and the rooms cost £126.
In Italy, travellers can enjoy the largest hotel savings during the winter months, but will want to travel during April when a hotel room costs £170, in October when it costs £185, or November to pay £137, for the best mix of price and weather.
Alternatively, for a trip to India where temperatures are typically hot all round, travellers can find the least expensive hotels in India from April through to June, with nightly rates below £84.
Some of the locations might not be pleasant even if they do have balmy temperatures though.
For instance, travellers can find the best prices on hotels in the Caribbean from August through October, with nightly rates averaging as low as £226.
But that is also hurricane season, which visitors should consider carefully before booking.
