Cadbury launches TWO new chocolate bars…and they sound utterly delicious

The Oreo Peanut Butter and Oreo Mint Daily Milk bars can be bought from most major supermarkets

WITH Easter round the corner Cadbury has released the ultimate gift – two new chocolate bars themed around Oreos.

Following the news it was launching an Oreo Crème Egg, Cadbury has now added to its Dairy Milk range with new bars of Oreo Peanut Butter and Oreo Mint.

The new flavours will hit shelves from March and will be available in most major supermarkets.

The 120g bars will be priced around £1.49, according to the UK confectionary giant.

According to Cadbury both new bars will have "smooth and creamy Cadbury Dairy Milk covering a tasty flavoured cream filling, with added generous chunks of Oreo cookie."

Brand Manager at Mondeléz International, Joanna Dias, said: “We are delighted to add these two sumptuous new flavours to the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo, giving chocolate lovers even more ways to enjoy their favourite treat.

“Tasty and irresistible, the peanut butter variant will appeal to those who love the current peanut butter trend, while the delicious mint flavour will no doubt delight those who love a classic combination.”

Mondelez International bought Cadbury back in 2010 and has made a number of changes to its product line.

Toblerone fans were left outraged after the gap between the bar's triangles were increased to reduce the amount of chocolate last year.

This year the food conglomerate also announced they would be hiking the price of Freddo bars by 20 per cent.

Mondelēz, who owns Cadbury and other brands including belVita, Oreo, Milka and Trident, said the price hikes were necessary.
