The flights will serve three destinations on the US east coast, with a focus on smaller US airports in the New York, Boston and New England areas, further away from the big cities than the larger airports.

These smaller airports carry significantly lower landing charges which help the airline keep costs down.

While the flights are at rock bottom prices, passenger will have to pay extra to buy food on board and to put luggage in the hold.

The flights, which are now on sale at , will be operated on new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
