Employees are now getting even more job perks than a decent salary and sociable hours
THEY say that a happy workforce is a productive workforce.
And as well as offering a decent salary and sociable hours, some employers are offering incredible benefits to their employees in reward for their hard work.
From free food in constantly stocked fridges to being allowed to take days off to do Christmas shopping, some companies have a range of benefits to keep their workers on side.
And with people now more likely to move on from their jobs if they are unhappy, some of these employee perks will make you think again about changing profession.
There's no need for Google employees to take a packed lunch to work with them as the search engine giant provides free food for its employees.
Whether they are working early or late, freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner is on offer in the London office's canteen.
The drawback is that queues to fill up are often long, but in 2013, then Google UK managing director said that most didn't mind.
This is because it gives workers the opportunity to chat and create ideas.
Fellow tech giant Facebook not only pays it employees in the UK a generous salary, they also offer their workers free food.

According to the , employees can go on holiday when they like, so long as they tell their managers and their work is covered.
Workers also don't need approval to spend company money on entertainment or gifts, so long as they are acting in the best interests of Netflix.
Airbnb
The website Airbnb helps people find affordable accommodation while they travel across the world.
And staff who work for the online marketplace are also encouraged to get out and see the world.
Each staff member is given up to £1,600 every year, which they can spend on travel plans.
The only stipulation is they must use it to stay at an Airbnb listing.
ASOS
Online retailer ASOS is one of the go-to website for the fashion conscious.
And to ensure their staff keep up to date with the latest trends, they are allowed to enjoy a 40 per cent discount on all items.
Meanwhile as a thank you to their staff for their work, in the summer months they are allowed to finish work on a Friday at 3pm.
Swinton Insurance
In the run-up to the festive season, it can be a a stressful time to make sure you have everything ready for the big day.
