The Chase hit by MORE fix claims as Bradley Walsh appears to try to get contestant to change her answer
Viewers were baffled by the host's behaviour on last night's episode
THE Chase was hit by more fix claims last night after host Bradley Walsh appeared to try to get a contestant to change her answer.
Viewers also accused the host of reading out the questions too slowly in the final chase, with several remarking on his odd "mood".
Contestant Rachel, a 33-year-old languages teacher from London, was up against The Dark Destroyer during the head to head part of the show.
It was on her final question, which would secure her £5,000 prize fund contribution to the team, that Bradley appeared to take a funny turn.
He asked her the question: "Making an investment based on social, moral or environmental qualities rather than financial is called what?"
Confident Rachel went for ethical, but Bradley wasn't having it.
He repeatedly asked her: "Did you mean noble? Are you sure you didn't mean noble?"
Rachel stood firm, saying she was "sure" the answer was ethical, but the host kept pushing.
Becoming visibly frustrated and confused, Rachel assured Bradley she was happy with her answer, to which he eventually conceded: "I think it's a guess."
Unsurprisingly, Rachel was correct - though viewers were baffled by Bradley's bizarre antics.
One tweeted: "Bradley is off his f***ing t**s tonight. 'Yeah gotta be, I have no idea about this one....'You know this one? I think its a guess'."
Another wrote: "Bradley, please don't overdo it. Honestly I'd end up punching him," while one joked: "One or two too many e-numbers in Bradley's pre-show snack? A tad too lively today?"

When it came to the final chase, several viewers then accused the host of reading out the questions slowly.
One tweeted: "Bloody slow Bradley was reading out them questions" while another asked: "What's going on? How slow is Bradley Walsh reading out them questions tonight? Embarrassing."
And an eagle-eyed viewer pointed out: "The end chase is never fair - so much time wasted by Bradley saying contestants name. The Chaser should get less time."
