Hitting screens in late February the adaptation is based on the alternate reality of the 1978 novel by espionage author Len Deighton.
Opening scenes of the five-part series - which has been three years in the making - shows some of Britain’s most iconic landmarks crumbling under heavy bombing, a pile of rubble compared to their former glory.
