Haley had been convinced she was going to give birth to her 'saviour' when she appeared in November
A GIRL who told Dr Phil she was nine months pregnant with baby Jesus has returned to the show – and admitted it was trapped wind.
Haley, now 20, appeared on the US chat show back in November and told the host she was about to give birth to the Son of God – despite two negative pregnancy tests and a pelvic exam that said she wasn’t pregnant.
She even refused to believe the results of an ultrasound carried out on the show, which showed there was no baby.
Her family branded her a “compulsive liar” but she told them: “His name is going to be Jesus, I am pregnant and I’m not going to deny my child.”
After getting the results on the show she insisted: “You can’t lie to Jesus.”
She also insisted Eminem was her father.
But this weekend Haley returned to the show, and admitted that the phantom pregnancy had been caused by trapped wind.
It was revealed that Haley, then 19, was put into a residential treatment programme after the first show.
She refused medication for the first two weeks because “I thought I was pregnant”, but then the moment of truth.
She said: “I woke up one night and I thought I was having a contraction. I looked at my stomach and it went completely flat. It made me realise I wasn’t pregnant
“I had a bunch of gas lodged in my stomach and I thought I was pregnant.”
She told the show: “I thought I’d had a miscarriage. I waited a couple of day and my stomach just kept getting smaller and smaller and then I started bleeding. But nothing came out accept blood. So I think the baby would have come out.”
However, Haley told Dr Phil she still believed Eminem was her dad – and had told them in rehab that the show’s host was her uncle.
Dr Phil asked: “So that makes me Eminem’s brother.”
Haley replied: “No, his dad.”
Despite admitting her pregnancy was a fantasy, Haley said she was grieving as if she’d had a miscarriage.
She said: “It didn’t help me because I was more depressed. I am going through a big loss. I thought I’d lost my baby. I’m still grieving.”
Haley stunned audiences on the first show with her claims that she was having the new Messiah.
She said: “My family, my friends, my pastors at church, they don’t believe that I’m pregnant.
“I know it’s Jesus. I don’t care if my family disowns me. It really comes down to if you’re a true believer in Jesus or not …
“I don’t care what the home pregnancy test or a doctor says, when I give birth to my baby, no one is going to deny him because he’s my saviour.”
