Here is the power suit Theresa May wears to meet world leaders from Obama to Putin on FOUR previous occasions
THERESA MAY’s historic meeting with President Trump took place today – and the PM wore a VERY familiar outfit to mark the occasion.
She chose the two-piece from one of her favourite UK designers, Amanda Wakeley, and paired the ensemble with shoes by L.K. Bennett.
May was all-smiles as she was greeted by the new President, and the pair were quick to bond over restoring the bust of iconic PM Winston Churchill back to the Oval Office.
The British Prime Minister recycled her striking red power suit for the occasion, which she has previously shown off at many a political occasion.
May is no stranger to flying the British flag for fashion, as she sported the same ensemble when meeting Vladimir Putin during the G20 Leaders Summit in September, 2016.
After meeting the then-President of the US, Barack Obama at the meeting in China, the PM was later papped with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The PM also donned the eye-catching Amanda Wakeley number during her time as Home Secretary.
After listening to a State Opening of Parliament speech by Queen Elizabeth II in 2014, she was seen walking through the Central Lobby with Labour Party MP Chuka Umanna.
A year later, she was spotted arriving at the House of Commons chamber alongside Education Secretary Nicky Morgan in the same get-up.
