You can now buy your very own Caribbean ISLAND on eBay… but it’ll cost you
One lucky bidder could forget the usual sunbed scrambles and bag their own unspoiled sandy escape with this eBay buy
MOST people use eBay to flog ancient blenders, old bangers, faux designer handbags and even used fivers, but one user has upped the ante.
Willow Reed has invited nature lovers to bid on a little slice of paradise - her own Caribbean island, just off the coast of Belize.
With white sandy beaches, a year-round temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, dolphin spotting on your doorstep and snorkelling just 20 minutes away, it's a golden opportunity.
The new owner won't need to worry about washing their hair in the sea or having nowhere to plug their phone in, there’s an island water collection system, solar power system and back-up generator.
The part-filled mangrove island is just shy of four acres, which is about two-and-a-half football pitches and has a small cabin and larger house with sleeping accommodation.
Willow, 40, promises it will be a "wonderful escape and great investment potential", and is selling it with a heavy heart – and amazing tan, no doubt.
Bidding starts at £400,000 - or a 'buy it now' price of £750,000.
In the description the seller explains: "I’ve been sympathetically restoring it and due to unforeseen circumstances have decided to move back to the UK."
Imagine just how heavy that heart is - the amazing aerial view shows a breath-taking sandy island sat right in The Blue Ground range, "famous for its wonderful azure sea".
You now have until February 4 to buy yourself into Paradise.
