History student Tom, 19, looked embarrassed as Anne Hegarty complimented his performance - and his looks
‘FROSTY Knickers’ Anne Hegarty appeared to thaw last night as she unashamedly flirted with a young contestant – much to the disgust of Bradley Walsh.
The usually icy Governess gushed over history student Tom Shah, 19, telling him he was “ridiculously cute” – prompting a “Yuck!” from the host.
The awkward moment came after Tom, a keen sailor from Derby, managed to defend the £3,000 he won in the cash builder round.
After praising his performance, telling him he could have easily taken the higher offer, she then complimented his good looks, adding: “I’m going to enjoy this.”
Bradley then shook Tom’s hand, joking: “Quick, run!” as he returned to his teammates.
Viewers were also bemused by Anne’s blatant seduction tactics, with many joking Tom looked terrified by her advances.
Anna Rixson tweeted: “Ooh Anne, he looked quite scared, obviously not used to the older woman” while George Petre commented: “Anne was deffo hitting on a bloke who’s never even experienced razor burn yet!!”
And Joanne joked: “No longer Frosty Knickers now Flirty Knickers!”
Anne certainly wasn’t alone in her admiration for handsome Tom.
