AN ARTIST has painted a series of stunning optical illusions but what do you see when you look at the clever artwork? Take a look make your decision.
One painting looks as though it's showing a wintry alpine scene with late night skiers on a downhill run surrounded by the beauty of Northern lights and the enticement of a warm and cosy hut.
But if you look a little closer - rotate your head to the left - you will see the image is actually that of legendary Jamaican reggae artist Bob Marley.
The incredible rotating artwork - which sees skiers as eyes and teeth as a ski hut - is the brainchild of surreal artist Frank Franklin.
The 42-year-old, who names Salvador Dali as his biggest influence, first stumbled across these creations when he saw a picture of himself with dark shadows.
The father-of-two said: "I used Salvador Dali's paranoid critical technique in which you can look at something for so long that it doesn't make sense anymore.
"I looked at the picture for so long a whole other set of images jumped out at me.
"I first created a picture of myself years ago, and then when I stumbled across it again I thought I could replicate it with iconic figures."
The optical illusion-fan works from images with very contrasting features, with a prominence of dark and light, to create his unique images.
He said: "Sometimes I can look at a picture for ages and I don't see anything.
"Other times I've looked at the picture and I'll see images that are not cohesive with each other - so that doesn't work either.
"You need to be able to make a picture as a whole, one that makes sense as a complete."
