His charity work and Live Aid
Aside from his musical achievements George was a passionate campaigner and supported a number of charities.
He performed at Live Aid in 1985 with Elton John and in 1992 he sung with Queen at The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert which raised money for AIDS research.
