Was Elvis Presley in Home Alone? Fan theory claims Kevin’s mum queued with the King
The King of Rock and Roll would have been the same age as the man in the queue
CHRISTMAS is the time for miracles, and it looks as though film fans have been overlooking a King-sized one for the past 26 years.
A new fan theory has emerged suggesting that Elvis Presley actually appeared in 1990 Christmas classic, Home Alone - which came out years after his untimely death.
It all centres on the the scene where Kate McCallister, played by Catherine O'Hara, is trying to negotiate a plane ticket back to Chicago so she can reunite with her son, Kevin (Macaulay Culkin), who she left at home by mistake.
According to some, you can catch a glimpse of the King of Rock and Roll in the sequence.
A bearded man in a jacket and turtleneck hovers over Kate's left shoulder, occasionally expressing his impatience with his body language - and many believe he's played by Elvis.
Although Elvis died on August 16 1977 at the age of 42, he has been supposedly spotted several times since and many truly believed he faked his own death.
He's only in Home Alone briefly, but at one point the extra actually cocks his head to the right, much like Elvis used to do when performing.
