Student nurse hopes for a full body lift on This Time Next Year after losing a staggering 8st thanks to a gastric band
Rryann Ashworth had weighed 22 stone at her biggest, and now weighs a much lighter 14.5 stone
THIS week’s episode of Time Next Year we meet a woman hoping for a full body lift after her extreme weight loss left her with unsightly excess skin.
Davina McCall introduced student nurse Rryann Ashworth, from Manchester, who states that “by this time next year I will have had a fully body lift.”
The 20-year-old has already undergone a complete transformation after having lost over an impressive eight stone with the help of a gastric band, but now wants to get rid of “all the excess skin” she has been left with.
Previously, Rryann had weighed 22 stone at her biggest, and now weighs a much lighter 14.5 stone.
Rryann says that growing up she did have problems surrounding food, she added: “I’ve always been big so there’s never been a time where I’ve been thin.
“It was only when I went to university that I decided that I needed to do something.”
Although she has done amazingly well to lose so much weight, Rryann admits that it is devastating to be left with so much loose skin after coming so far.
She added: “Looking in the mirror is a constant reminder of what you used to be, so that’s one reason why I want to get it done.

“Also just simple things like being able to walk outside wearing a sleeveless top.
“I always cover up.
Rryann goes on to reveal to Davina and the audience the folds of skin that have been left on her arms as well as her tummy and it is clear to see that a much slimmer body is hidden beneath the excess .
As she covers back up, she adds: “I want to be slim, that’s my goal”.
Fast-forward a year and Rryann takes to the stage in a fitted strapless dress – the surgery having been done on her arms.
Davina is left gobsmacked at the pretty student’s new look and she looks far more confident than her previous appearance.
“Darling, you look jaw-dropping”, the stunned host tells Rryann.
Rryann says: “It’s been a big year.
“It’s been a few months [since the op] a lot has changed not just physically but confidence wise, emotionally, everything.
It turns out, that because of her studies, Rryann is yet to have the surgery on her tummy – but hopes to in a few months’ time when she finishes university.
Now, Rryann says that inside she feels “a lot happier with everything, I can look in the mirror again and wear what I want.”
“Nothing can hold me back anymore”, she adds.
