Amanda Holden reveals why she wants Katie Price to return to Celebrity Big Brother this series
CBB is back this month with an 'All-Stars' theme which means we'll see former housemates return, as well as new stars enter the house
HAPPY New Year!
How are everyone’s heads this morning? Not too sore I hope.
I’m feeling remarkably fresh-faced after a very low-key and lovely night with Chris and the girls.
After an early performance of Cinderella, I dashed off to a nice hotel near the Thames and we watched the New Year’s Eve fireworks display from the balcony of our room, all snuggled up together.
I had a couple of glasses of fizz, but was very well-behaved!
It was the perfect way to end 2016, which was a year of ups and downs for most of us, I think.
I’m not actually a huge fan of New Year as I think people make too big a deal of it and it can end up being quite anti-climactic.
I’ve learned over the years that doing something with your family is much more enjoyable than going to a party where you don’t even know half the people there.
Does this mean I’m getting old? I don’t care!
Amanda's thoughts on CBB...
Celebrity Big Brother is back this month with an “All-Stars” theme, which means past housemates will be returning, along with new stars.
I loved Katie Price in the house. She was really different from how I expected her to be, so I hope she goes in again.
I’ll definitely be watching, but no amount of money could ever convince me to take part.
Sleep with a room full of strangers? No thanks. I couldn’t cope with all the mess, either!
In the past, I used to party hard.
One year, Chris and I went to a Bollywood-themed party in Switzerland, while my best NYE ever was spent in Barcelona with Sarah Parish.
We were both single and had a blast, then we met our wonderful husbands that year.
I’ve got just two more weeks of panto left, then I’m straight on a plane to Blackpool to meet up with Simon, Alesha and David for the beginning of Britain’s Got Talent.
Because I’ve been working non-stop for months now, I’ve barely had a chance to see anyone, so I’m really looking forward to catching up with the judges, as well as Ant and Dec.
I can’t wait to hear about what Christmas presents they got!
I’m busy putting the final touches to my BGT wardrobe, and I’m dying to see what acts walk out on the stage to impress us.
I always get goosebumps thinking about the talent about to be discovered.
Someone’s life is about to change forever, and they don’t even know it yet…
