The Egg McMuffin was given a posh makeover in the form of a delicate rosti topped with cheese, egg and candied bacon.
Ingredients normally used in the Chicken Legend were turned into a high-end snack with the grilled chicken being served on melba-style toast with a spiced sauce and a sprinkling of green herbs.
The fast foods much-loved drinks and desserts were given a grown-up overhaul.
The festive Spiced Cookie Latte was turned into a Spiced Espresso Martini, while its Honeycomb McFlurry was transformed into a Honeycomb Hard Shake.
McDonald's worked with its team of development chefs, called the Chef's Council, on the night to create the fine dining versions of its normal menu items.
The chain said they wanted to demonstrate the great taste, quality and versatility of their ingredients, and that lucky taste-testers were pleased with the results.
