Jeremy Kyle viewers slam ‘annoying’ guest who insist she’s not a thief… after FAILING a lie detector test

THE internet has gone into meltdown over an 'annoying' Jeremy Kyle guest who continued to insist she was innocent, and repeat herself dozens of time, even after failing a lie detector guest.

Tanya was adamant she hadn't stolen from her boyfriend's family friend Nigel, but was found to have lied when the fateful envelope was opened on the ITV show.

The red-haired northerner was dragged onto The Jeremy Kyle Show by her boyfriend's mum, bird breeder Rachel, who had accused her of stealing gold.

Tanya and boyfriend Ayden had been asked to take the jewellery, which belonged to Nigel's late mother, to be fixed while he was away on holiday.

But after Nigel returned from his two-week trip the 'sentimental' gold, which he reckoned was not worth much, had disappeared.

However, in a twist of events, the gold miraculously reappeared after Rachel got in touch with Jezza and his team.

Ayden passed his own lie detector test, in which he was asked whether he knew who had taken the gold - as his family suggested he may have been covering for Tanya.

When his girlfriend was found guilty, Ayden burst into tears - but Tanya continued to protest her innocence.

Jeremy said: "The test's wrong, is it? When they said they were phoning this show you put it back."

But Tanya insisted: "No I haven’t, I didn’t touch it. I found it. I haven’t touched it. I found it in the cupboard."

Jezza responded: "You put it in the cupboard and you were gonna pawn it. And the only reason you didn’t sell it was because you didn’t have ID. Why did he pass and why did you fail?

"It doesn’t matter what I think, or what the mother thinks, ask your boyfriend what he believes.

"You put it back, and if you were anything you might even be able to save this. You did the right thing in the end because you put it back."

He then told Ayden: "You believe it, don’t you? Your mum might have been slaughtered by you but she had a gut feeling. And I understand it’s difficult."

The entire fiasco made Tanya break down, repeatedly insisting: "It’s not funny, I didn’t take it."

However, Nigel replied: "Keep repeating yourself, it isn’t going to change anything."

And Tanya has now been torn apart online - even being mocked for her chipped nails.

Apparently, Ayden forgave his thieving girlfriend - and the pair are still very much together.
