Transgender man with new £60,000 body including bionic penis funded by the NHS remains a virgin since transitioning four years ago
Lee Carter, 48, reckons he'd be the 'best lover ever' as having lived for more than 40 years as a female, he knows what women want
A TRANSGENDER man who has a new £60,000 body including a bionic penis is still a virgin four years later as he can’t find the right woman to have sex with.
Lee Carter, 48, claims having spent 40 years living as 'Lisa' means his knowledge of the female body will make him the best lover ever.
But despite the NHS funding his surgery to give him a male physique, he’s yet to meet the right woman to prove it.
Lee would love to test out his new bionic penis, which was built using skin from his arm and features a pump hidden inside one of his testicles to make him erect, but he wants to do it ‘the old-fashioned way’.
He explained: “My mates joke that I’m in the best position ever because I know what a woman wants and now I have the tackle too.
“I’d love to experience sex now I finally have the right body but I’m old-fashioned and I want to fall in love first.
“I’ve remained a virgin since transitioning but I’m ready to meet the right woman.
“Women always want to know if my bits work in the same way and the answer is 100 per cent yes.”
It took Lee three years to transition from Lisa, after five operations costing the NHS £60,000.
He said: “I spent half my life trapped in the wrong body so I feel like life has only just started for me.
“I’m happy with who I am now and I know I can make the right woman happy too.”
Lee was born Lisa Keepence – but reckons he knew from a young age something wasn’t right.
He said: “Until three I was a little girl in bunches, but as I got older I love football and hated dolls.
“My parents thought I was a tomboy.”
Confusingly Lisa then developed feelings for girls, but Lee claims he never identified as a lesbian.
He explained: “I began to realise that I didn’t just prefer hanging around with the boys, but that I actually wanted to be one.
“I thought, acted and felt like a boy which is why I fancied girls, but transgender issues weren’t really talked about then so I didn’t fully recognise what the problem was.”
Puberty meant he hated the changes to his body, particularly the large breasts.
He said: “I just felt like they didn’t belong to me.”
Lee set up a cleaning business after leaving school and tried to accept life as Lisa dating women.
He explains: “I kept my hair short and dressed like a man.
“Interestingly women that were attracted to me were never lesbians, just straight women.”
But sex was a problem.
He admitted: “I felt, looked and acted like a man and my partners thought of me as a man, but my body didn’t match.”
Lee admits to having suicidal thoughts as he struggled to accept the body he had been born with.
But it was only when approaching 40 that he began to think about gender surgery and spoke to his GP.
He recalled: “By then it made sense. I knew without doubt that I had been born in the wrong body. It was a medical issue and it needed correcting.”
His GP agreed and arranged counselling ahead of the transition, which would take place over five costly operations.
Lee said: “Yes it was a lot of money but my family and I have always been tax payers and I never asked to be born in the wrong body.
“Any other medical problem would be corrected and it certainly isn’t something you do lightly.
“I felt I deserved the chance to live my life in the right body and feel complete and happy.”
Lee began hormone treatment in May 2009 to stop his periods and change his voice.
He said: “People began calling me Sir, which was great. My face and body filled out and I grew facial hair. I felt better already.”
It was around this time that he claimed he was visited by angels who assured him he was doing the right thing in transitioning.
He said: “I hadn’t really been massively spiritual before but a lady approached me in the supermarket and told me she was a medium and could see angels behind me and that they were taking care of me.
“They had a message for me apparently.
“She told me they said I was doing the right thing and after that I started noticing more and more signs like little white feathers.”
The experience inspired him to begin writing a book about his transition called Living With Lisa, .
In June 2010 his 36D breasts were removed and in November he had a 12-hour phalloplasty operation to create a penis using skin and veins grafted from his arm.
In May 2011 he had his womb and ovaries removed and a new urination system created by surgeons.
In October 2011, silicone implants were used to create testicles and in April 2012, an inflatable pump system was implanted to allow him to get erect.
The pump to inflate his penis was hidden inside his testicle.
He said: “I was very happy with the results. I finally felt like the outside matched the inside but I decided to wait until I was healed properly emotionally and physically before starting a relationship.”
But it’s now been FOUR years and Lee says he’s ready to meet the right woman and lose his male virginity.
He explained: “I’m not nervous at all, I know exactly what to do and I’m happy with my body, I just want to meet the right woman.
“I have a body I am proud of and friends and family who love me. All I need now is a woman to share my life with.”
