It’s Elf on the Shelf as you’ve never seen him before… people are posting x-rated photos of the doll in VERY compromising positions
IF you have kids you'll definitely know all about Elf of the Shelf, and even if you don't the doll has probably popped up on your social media feeds.
The idea is the toy is sent by Father Christmas to watch over kids in the run up to December 25.
Parents move him around the hope to show their little ones he's reporting back on their behaviour... and saying whether they should make the naughty or nice list.
All pretty standard, which could be why parents have started having their own fun with it.
Photos of versions of the elf toy in highly compromising positions have been cropping up online, and people can't get enough of them.
After all, who doesn't want to see what Santa's little helper gets up to once the world is asleep? And if this photo is anything to go by he enjoys some pretty x-rated pastimes.

Many of the shots have been posted on Facebook page , which has the tag line 'these elves are out of control'.
Mums and dads have certainly thought out of the box with some of the shots, but hopefully no kids have got a glimpse of the hilarious snaps.
Take this one, which meshes together the elf with favourite fairy tale Snow White... but not as you know it.
Rather than helping the princess, the seven dwarfs are seen tying her up while the elf gets her Prince Charming on the line, presumably asking for a ransom.
