And now the internet has hit upon its most risque craze yet — the one-finger selfie challenge.
The person stands naked in front of a mirror and uses a strategically-placed finger that covers both their boobs and privates - thanks to the reflection.
The concept stems from an illustration by Japanese anime artist Sky-FreeDom, which shows a naked girl using one finger reflected in a mirror to cover both her breasts and private parts.
has even made a video showing how to achieve the perfect image.
It could be one of the most controversial trends yet. Not only does it involve near-nudity, Teen Vogue slammed it as an “”.
But at least one person has made the challenge liberating, with transgender blogger Delia Melody posting her own version on social media with the caption: “Yes, I’m #transgender, yes my boobs are real, No, I haven’t had 'The Surgery™' and yes, I nailed the #onefingerselfiechallenge.”
