Misty peaks, a sun-dappled valley and a perfect rainbow over the Lake District…these are the stunning winners of the Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards

THE winners of the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition were announced in October and the photos were absolutely breathtaking.

Now, the stunning photos are on display at London Waterloo station until February 5, 2017.

The long opening hours of the station must make it one of the busiest and most accessible photography exhibition in the country.

There are also plans for the exhibition to tour other stations across the country between February and June next year.

Here is a look at what is on display:

Mirror Bar

This photo, taken by Hannah Faith Jackson in Scotland, took home the Young Landscape Photographer of the year.

Chrome Hill in the Peak District

This picture, taken by Martin Birks, won the Adult Living view category.

Shelter from the storm

Dougie Cunningham captured this stunning image in Loch Stack, in the Scottish Highlands. It won the Adult Classic view category.

Demolition

This is the winner of the Adult Urban view category. It was captured by Lesley Smith in Red Road Flats, Glasgow.

Poseidon rising

This dramatic picture of the ocean was captured in Newhaven, East Sussex, by Rachael Talibart. It was highly commended in the Adult Classic view category.

Finding Gold

Mark Gilligan caught this breathtaking rainbow in West Water, Cumbria. The photograph is the winner of the #OMGB Award.

Caister-on-Sea

This photo of the tide going out in Norfolk was captured by Damian Ward. It won the Adobe Prize in the competition.

Sunshine breaks through

This is the Network Rail 'Lines in the Lanscape' competition winner. It was taken by Francis Taylor in Ribblehead Viaduct, North Yorkshire.

Brighton Pavilion light show

Taken by Simon Anderson, this photo was given a highly commended award in the #OMGB category.

Ephemeral pools

This black and white image was captured by Matt Botwood in Ystradfellte, Powys. It was commended in the awards.

Queensferry crossing

Dave Stewart took this photo during the construction of the bridge in North Queensferry, Fife. It was commended in the awards.

Black rain

This was taken by Dietmar Herzog in the Isle of Skye. It was also commended in the awards.

Magpie Inkcap

Another commended photograph. This was captured by Robert Canis in Newnham, Kent.

Another flurry

Robert Birkby was commended for this photograph, taken in Ripponden, West Yorkshire.

Storm Imogen

This stormy photograph of waves in Newhaven, East Sussex, was taken by Rachael Talibart. It was the Sunday Times Magazine award winner.

Winter sunrise

The Herringfleet Smock Mill in Suffolk, captured by Gary Horner, was also commended.

Shifting sands

This is the winner of the Your view category. It was taken by Tony Higginson at Silverdale in Lancashire.

Gateway to Autumn

Taken by Mik Dogherty in the New Forest National Park in Hampshire. This photo was also commended in the awards.
