The X Factor has gone all Mannequin Challenge as Honey G becomes the latest celeb to try her hand at it... live on TV!
WHAT started off as simple idea by teens in the US has now hit the mainstream in the UK with Honey G's performance on X Factor on Saturday night.
But what's The Mannequin Challenge all about and where did it originate? We have the details...
What is the Mannequin Challenge?
The Mannequin Challenge is an online trend which sees people uploading videos of them looking as though they've been frozen in time.
Once the clip has been recorded, social media users have been sharing the footage with the hashtag #MannequinChallenge.
Where did the Mannequin Challenge start?
Teenagers from the USA started off the viral movement in October and since then it has spread across the world, with even celebrities been getting involved.
It’s being branded the new ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ as virtually everyone is trying their hand at one.
What is Black Beatles?
Most Mannequin Challenges are set to a song called Black Beatles by American hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd featuring Gucci Mane.
But the craze didn't start as a promo for the artists - they only got involved with the trend last weekend, when they made their own frozen video.
Which other celebs have done the Mannequin Challenge?
Dozens of music stars and celebrities have created videos in the past few weeks. Here are a few examples:
Taylor Swift
Taylor and her friends celebrated Thanksgiving in style by enjoying a day at the beach and setting up their own Mannequin Challenge before sitting down for a big meal.
The X Factor presenters
Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh, Matt Terry and Honey G were just a few big names on the ITV show to take part in their own Mannequin Challenge.
The clip gives viewers an insight to the backstage side of The X Factor, showing artists practising, crew members making sure everything is right on the night and the acts on stage.
Destiny's Child
Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams were all together celebrate the second birthday of Kelly’s son Titan and opted to capture the moment in a slightly different way.
Taking inspiration from their playroom surroundings Michelle could be seen holding a blow-up ball while Beyonce looked ready to catch it.
Meanwhile, Kelly held on to a balloon baseball bat which she was pretending to swing at the ball.
Adele
Adele was left standing still while surrounded by her tour crew and her pals as they wore cowboy hats and adopted "action poses" in a saloon-themed bar.
The video comes less than a week after Adele pulled out all the stops as she transformed herself into The Mask – the character made famous by Jim Carrey in the 1994 blockbuster.
And making sure it was a costumes to remember, the mum-of-one even wore prosthetics, mimicking the character’s lively face.
The singer didn’t stop there thought and even got the outfit spot on – wearing a suit, braces, polka dot tie and of course the famous hat.
