British Airways stewardess strips to reveal an incredible six-pack for bodybuilding competitions on her days off
Mum Ayme Oliveira hides her bulging muscles under her hostess uniform
AIR hostess Ayme Oliveira’s white steward’s uniform hides an incredible secret – bulging biceps and an insane six pack.
When she’s not flying to exotic places the 32-year-old from Chelmsford, Essex, is a dedicated body builder who trains for two-and-a-half hours a day.
While she hides her sculpted figure at work, she spend her days off competing in weightlifting championships.
The mum of one also eats up to five meals per day when flying.
She claims passengers on the aircraft are often clueless about her passion for weightlifting until she exposes her biceps when doing the safety demo or placing luggage above seats.
Ayme maintains her incredible physique all year round so she can enter competitions whenever she's in the country.
She's now sharing her bodybuilding success of the past 12 months to promote the health benefits for both the mind and body.
Ayme said: "When I'm working as an air hostess I eat up to five meals while on the flight.
"No one knows I'm a bodybuilder unless they witness the amount I'm eating or if I do the safety demo.
"If I'm in the middle of the aisle those around me can see my biceps and will ask if I weight train.
"I love telling people about my side hobby, I don't do it because I enjoy the attention of being on stage, I just enjoy pushing myself to new limits and working towards new physical goals.
"I think a lot of people assume air hostesses are all girly girls and although I enjoy having my hair and nails done, it's great getting stuck into something challenging."
Ayme has competed in many competitions but most recently she took part in Pure Elite - whereby she needed to get her body into the best shape of her life.
She added: "I had just one week to prepare and I didn't tell a soul as I didn't want the pressure of doing well.
"This year I had to maintain my condition all year round as I never know when I'm in the country to commit to a competition.
"I placed 5th in my category taking home a trophy.
"I will be looking to better my stage presence and confidence in stage for my next show, that's what lets me down and hopefully compete in April again.
"I love a challenge and there will always be room for improvement."
Ayme has always enjoyed going to the gym and since her early 20's she has preferred lifting weights as oppose to cardio.
She said: "I wasn't very good at running. When I realised my ability to grow muscle I wanted to see how far I could go with it and challenged myself to get the best physique possible through diet and exercise.
"I had always been thin and healthy but taking weights seriously is a passion and although I'm very proud, I'll never be satisfied."

Ayme doesn't use the scales to judge her physique but currently weighs ten stone.
She said: "I don't believe in concentrating on the scales as muscle weighs more than fat.
"I think scales can be demotivating to people training hard, as the number on the scales is an accumulation of water and muscle mass as well as body fat."
Ayme has been an air hostess since she was 18 years old and after jetting off all over the world while looking after her daughter, Angel, eight, and training, she doesn't get much time for anything else.
She said: "I've recently started a new relationship and he's into bodybuilding too.
"But it is difficult to find any spare time while being a single mum, international flight attendant and training every day.
"I train every day for an hour and a half of weights, followed by an hour of cardio."
Ayme states she cannot start her day without her protein overnight oats made with almond milk.
She added: "I then train and have a protein shake.
"Lunch is generally a homemade protein or tuna salad with sweet potato.
"I snack on homemade protein balls and dinner is generally a salmon salad with no carbs.
"When prepping for a show I reduce fats, carbs, cut out fructose, lactose and sodium. And increase my water to five litres per day."
As well as her incredible physique, Ayme has noticed the great improvements to her health also.
Ayme said: "Since training I'm obviously a lot fitter and stronger, I have the blood pressure of an athlete, increased energy levels and I'm rarely ill.
"If anyone is thinking about becoming a bodybuilder I would say 'do it,' not only because of the obvious increased health benefits but it's the most underused antidepressant, it helps clear your mind, distress and focus."
She's not the only one who believes that bodybuilding is a life-enhancing force.
