Nectar double up ends TONIGHT at Sainsbury’s but you can earn QUADRUPLE points over the weekend
THERE's just hours now to go until Sainsbury's double Nectar points voucher deal runs out - but don't worry if you miss out because keen shoppers will be able to nab four times the normal amount during Black Friday sales this weekend.
The double points scheme allows customers to exchange points for a voucher worth double the value during the run up to Christmas.
The Nectar Rewards 'Double Up' promotion is only available to those with a valid points card.
It means that if you already have 1000 Nectar points (worth £5 in cash) you'll be able to redeem them for a voucher worth £10.
Shoppers will be able to spend the voucher across six different departments - including toys, homeware, electrical items and Tu clothing - perfect for some Christmas shopping.
You can even trade them in for a bottle of fizz - or five - if you fancy.
One member of The Sun's team has £35 worth of points, but as the rules stipulate you can only use up to £20, they traded them in for a £40 voucher.
Doubled up with a special sale on Prosecco for £8 a bottle, they managed to get five bottles for free - and still have another £15 worth of points to use on their card.
Here's how you can take part:
Visit your local store's customer service desk to exchange your points for a cash voucher between November 16 and 22.
You can only get one if you have a valid points card.
How does it work?
The vouchers you usually would receive have been doubled, so instead of 1,000 points for a £5 voucher, you will now get a £10 one.
The vouchers go up to £40 (4,000 points) and Sainsbury's are only offering one voucher per customer.
You also have to spend it all in one go and within the same department.
The retailers to watch out for this Black Friday
Black Friday has hit! Here's where you should be doing your shopping:
1. Amazon
Black Friday started 12 days ago for Amazon with big reductions on a huge range of reduced products and more offers added as frequently as every five minutes.

With discounts across all departments John Lewis have plenty of opportunities for savings, especially in the kitchen with a KitchenAid mixer down to just £299.99 from £449.95.
5. Boots
Boots are offering big discounts on grooming products and a selection of their popular perfumes.
6. Sainsbury's
Sainsbury's kept a low profile in the run up to Black Friday but have now released deals on home appliances and electricals.
7. GAME
GAME has huge deals available on their PS4 and X-box bundles, ideal for Chirstmas gifts.
8. M&S
This weekend M&S have launched a "gifting" event as an alternative to Black Friday. There are great deals on Christmas decorations, cosmetics and lingerie.
9. House of Fraser
The House of Fraser sale is packed full of Christmas present prospects with toys, watches and jewellery and kitchen appliances all in the sale.
10. Debenhams
Department store Debenhams has also dramatically dropped prices for the event, kitchen appliances, perfumes and furniture have all faced the price chop.
11. Halfords
Get on your bike at Halfords with great deals on car and bike accessories as well as offers on adult and kid's bicycles.
12. Currys
Currys is a one stop shop for electrical items this Black Friday with reductions on TVs, laptops and speakers.
13. ASOS
This Black Friday ASOS is offering 20 per cent off everything on its site.
14. Very.co.uk
Very.co.uk have cut the price of some fun gifts including a jukebox now at £69.99 from £149, as well as great deals on clothes and accessories from their V by Very range.
15. Smyth's
Head to Smyth's for some cracking deals on children's games and toys.
16. B&Q
Dropping prices of DIY products and tools B&Q are embracing Black Friday this year, lawnmowers and leaf blowers have big reductions and there are kid's toys featured in the sale too.
17. Toys R Us
Toys R Us have cut prices across the store with toys, games and baby products all reduced in the sale.
18. Mothercare
Highchairs and prams are heavily reduced in the Mothercare sale, as well as toys and children's clothes.
19. Morrisons
Morrisons is the ideal place to get hold of some bargain booze with a 3L bottle of Jack Daniels costing just £50, they are also stocking a whole Serrano ham leg for the discounted price of £28.

There are six departments you can use the voucher in. These are:
- Tu clothing
- Toys
- Electrical items
- Entertainment
- Taste the Difference wine, champagne, sherry or port
- Homeware
When does the offer end?
All vouchers are set to expire at midnight tonight.
How to claim your extra points:
- Log in to and click "remember me now" (You must already have a Nectar card).
- Click on "collecting points" then select your category from the pink pop-up circle with the dots on.
- Select which brand you're after on the page and click "shop online".
Nectar card holders can pick up the additional points when shopping at a number of major retailers including between Black Friday (November 25) and Cyber Monday (November 28).
Over the four days you will be able to collect double, triple or even quadruple Nectar points when shopping with hundreds of brands.
On Black Friday itself you can get triple points when buying technology and entertainment products at Currys, Apple, Dell and Carphone Warehouse, and double points on Sky, NOWTV and O2 mobile services.
Cardholders can also pick up extra bonus points on fashion and beauty brand with four times the normal number of points going at ASOS, Boohoo, while you can grab triple points by buying products from House of Fraser, Selfridges and Molton Brown.
If it's gifts your after there will also be triple points available at Not On The High Street, Groupon, Nike and Waterstones as well as many others.
And the deals keep going into Cyber Monday with quadruple points at Debenhams, and ASOS and Boohoo again.
