The rise in popularity of social media sites such as Twitter, YouTube and Snapchat has created some unlikely celebrities and none more so than pint-sized princess Emily Cozmiuc.
But why has this little girl managed to gain such a following? We lift the lid on the YouTube sensation here…
Who is Emily Cozmiuc?
The tiny tot is just a normal three year old girl whose parents decided to film her playing with her toys and doing normal toddler activities.
The videos were started so that her extended family in Romania would be able to keep up with her exploits as she grew up in the UK.
Her father Ciprian and his wife Larisa have lived in London for the last 12 years with their four daughters aged between three and 14.
What does Emily Cozmiuc do?
On her channel Emily Tube, she can be seen playing with her siblings.
Usually with a range of toys, she will just amuse herself in set-up sketches for her millions of viewers.
In a recent clip uploaded to the site she can be seen using a magic wand to turn water in her sister’s bath into plastic balls and fighting over a Dora the Explorer balloon in the park.
The five minute film amassed almost 40million views at the time of publishing.
How famous is Emily Cozmiuc?
You may not have heard of her but you can rest assured that plenty of people have.
The three-year-old has just under 1.5million subscribers and her more popular videos have raked up 42million views.
How much money does Emily Cozmiuc make?
Ciprian has just quit in job as a bank maintenance engineer in the City in order to manage his daughter’s YouTube career full time.
Estimations from Social Blade, the internet ranking site, suggest that the channel could be worth between £36,000 and £585,000 each month from ad revenue alone.
That is a broad guess but even at the lower end, it’s fair to say Emily is one wealthy tot.
