Our exclusive online tariff from iSupplyEnergy is just £2 more than the cheapest deal on the market.

And it is fixed for 33 months so you are protected from forthcoming price rises and will not have to worry about bills going up for almost three years.

Average annual cost is £825 — 22 per cent less than the £1,063 the Big Six fuel suppliers typically charge.

There is also a £999-a-year deal for pre-payment meter customers, with an average saving of £138.

The offers make up the fourth of our People Power campaigns.

Under them we use the bargaining power of millions of Sun readers to create exclusive energy deals.

More than 10,000 of you have already switched to save hundreds of pounds — and sometimes more than £1,000.

'Phenomenal' - Saved £1,200

IT consultant Ketan Bhagvan, 41, has halved his total fuel bill by switching to our deals.

Dad-of-three Ketan said: “When we bought our house in 2012 we were paying £900 for gas and £1,500 for electric with EDF. It was ridiculous so I looked at price comparison websites and found The Sun’s People Power.

"It’s been phenomenal.”

Ketan, and wife Bhavini, 39, of Kenley, Surrey, have used their windfall to help pay for solar panels.

Overall, the deals have helped save Sun readers £6million. Switching is quick, easy and free.  There will be no interruption to fuel supply. And no one has to come to your home to do the switch, even if you are on a pre-payment meter.

You do not have to own the property, another myth which prevents would-be switchers from acting.

Among those to take advantage of our deals is building contract manager Mark Cook, 48. The dad of four, from Carshalton, Surrey, has saved £540 in a year since taking up our offer and switching from Big Six supplier SSE.

'It's very easy' - Saved £264

MARILYN Emmett spent a lifetime as a British Gas customer before switching her energy supplier with The Sun.

She and husband Peter, 70, were spending £83 a month on fuel but that has dropped to £61.

Marilyn, 63, of Leeds, said: “Peter read about People Power in the paper.

“The switch was easy. I just had to give an up-to-date power reading. I’d definitely do it again.”

The couple put their savings towards a trip to America.

He said: “It was the best thing I’ve ever done with my energy.

“Switching over was straight forward. I’ve recommended it to a few mates. It’s certainly worth it.”

Ian Arthur, 65, and wife Diana, 56, have so far saved £350 — which has funded a caravan holiday.

Retired Ian, of Castle Cary, Somerset, said: “We said ‘Yes’ and the next minute it was done. It’s been the best decision we’ve made.”
