Eurostar offers £19 cheapest-ever tickets to Paris or Brussels…but there’s a catch
Almost 20,000 one-way Eurostar seats go on sale from Monday but there's a catch
EUROSTAR is offering its lowest-ever fare of £19 for a one-way ticket - however, you might end up sitting on a fold-down seat for the entire journey.
Almost 20,000 seats will be available for travel to Paris, Brussels and Lille with the low fare between Monday 28 November and 15 January 2017.
You must book the ticket through snap.eurostar.com and use your Facebook profile when logging in.
Tickets go on sale on Monday 21 November and the promotion will run for eight days, or until the allocation runs out.
Passengers must book tickets at least a week before they want to travel. They also cannot pick the departure time for the train - only opting for morning or afternoon travel.
Two days before travel, Eurostar confirms the exact time of the train and what seat has been allocated.
In cases of high demand it may move passengers who bought a cheap ticket to a fold-down seat, also known as a tip-up seat.
HOW TO BOOK TICKETS
Go to snap.eurostart.com, log in using your Facebook details and select the date of travel.
Then 48 hours before travel Eurostar will confirm the exact train time and your seat allocation
