Marks and Spencer unveils new range with stylish undies, statement trends and bright dresses to help you put a Spring in your step

Will it be enough to win back the shoppers who deserted M&S?

THE future of fashion at Marks & Spencer looked in doubt after it announced plans to shut 30 UK stores and convert 45 more into food-only shops.

But its range for Spring/Summer 2017 proves the High Street stalwart is still doing what it does best.

The collection is stylish and trend-led, and there are statement items that can be paired with equally bold pieces or toned down with neutral staples.

But will it be enough to win back the shoppers who have deserted M&S? Director of Womenswear Jo Jenkins says: “We’ll get to the heart of the problem by listening to customers.”

The spaces for clothing in store will be smaller, but the quality and look proves M&S still has a spring in its step.
