Meet the 21-month-old tot whose hair is so incredible strangers think she is wearing a wig
Little Heather's thick hair is a real showstopper
AN ADORABLE toddler has such a striking head of hair she gets stopped for selfies and accused of wearing a WIG.
Little Heather Serna, 21 months, has so much hair her mum struggles to see over the bouffant when carrying her down the stairs.
Nina Serna, 33, says her toddler's hair stood six inches high when she was just months old and it takes an HOUR to dry.
Bubbly Heather, from Singapore, loves posing for photos but refuses to wear a headband to manage her mane.
The tot was born with a full head of hair but parents Nina and husband Henry, also 33, didn't think Heather's head of hair was anything special until passersby started stopping the couple.
Nina, a quantity surveyor, said: "Both Henry and I have really thick hair, but from the way her hair stands, we think she must have got it from Henry's sister, Vona.
"She was born with a full head of hair and at first I didn't think it was any different from any other baby's hair.
"It wasn't until we kept getting stopped that I realised her hair was extremely unique.
"It grew and stood around six inches high.
"It was difficult to see my way when I was carrying her, especially up and down the stairs!"
Strangers even thought Heather, who was born weighing 7lbs 4oz, was wearing a WIG.
Nina, who's originally from the Philippines, added: "A few people asked if it's a wig because they'd never seen a baby with such big hair.
"She gets so much attention every time we are out.
"In the supermarket, when we're dining in a restaurant and even on a train people have stopped us.
"Some people try to take a sly photo of her because they're too embarrassed to ask, but she loves it.
"We like to position her properly to get her smiling, which inevitably puts a smile on people's faces."
The mum-of-one lets Heather's hair dry naturally to prevent any heat damage and washes it once a day.
She even admits it takes an hour to dry - and stands up on end all on its own.
She said: "She has a bath twice a day but we only wash her hair in the morning.
"We never style it with heat or blow dry it, but it takes about an hour to dry.
"We just comb her hair when she comes out of the bath and it stands automatically as it dries."
Nina thought the attention would calm down as Heather grew up and her hair straightened out - but even now she's an "attention magnet".
She said: "I thought when her hair goes down no one would notice her, but because of her big round eyes and doll-like features she still is an attention magnet.
"They call her doll, barbie, cabbage patch."
The mum-of-one is now getting used to managing Heather's mane - although Heather
has her own ideas about how she likes wearing it.
The mum of one added: "When she was a few months old she was happy having her hair styled any way, but as soon as she turned one she heated wearing headbands."
Heather is not the only cutie with a massive barnet, with baby Junior turning heads at the supermarket with his ginger mane.
