Amazon’s Black Friday sale starts TODAY and new lightning deals could drop every FIVE minutes

AMAZON is kick-starting Black Friday sales by launching a whole 12 days before November 25.

Its extravaganza will will include HD TVs, phones, beauty products, home accessories, fashion and toys.

The deals will launch from Monday 14 November all the way through to Black Friday with “lightning deals” becoming available as often as every five minutes.

Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping days of the year. Retailers slash their prices for 24 hours only in an attempt to get shoppers to part with cash in the run up to Christmas.

Last year, Amazon ran its sale over five days but this year it will spread it over 12, starting from Monday.

It says the number of offers has double too - as it has added a thousand Marketplace sellers into the mix.

In 2015, Amazon sold more than 7.4million items - at a rate of 86 products per second.

“In response to positive customer feedback for Black Friday deals, we are introducing The Black Friday Sale – 12 days of fantastic deals on must-have gifts and products, saving our customers millions of pounds,” said Doug Gurr, from, Amazon.

How you can get early access to Amazon’s Black Friday deals

Amazon Prime Members get access to deals 30-minutes early and because the sale finishes products sell out, you need to be quick.

Membership costs £79 a year or you can sign up for a free 30-day trial.However, shoppers must cancel their membership before the end of the free period or they’ll be charged the full £79.

Prime customers will also one hour delivery slots when using the app to make orders, although this will cost £6.99.

The service only operates in London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool and Portsmouth.

How to get the best Black Friday deals

DO YOUR RESEARCH Read reviews of products online and then find the items on Amazon. For example, if you’re expecting a baby then you might be looking out for baby bouncers or sterilising set.

BOOKMARK Click on “save for later” on items that you want today and you’ll be able to instantly see if it goes on sale once the 12 days of Black Friday starts.
