Despite four years out of work he told Channel 5’s On Benefits he is too busy to clean up.

He said: “I am a hoarder. Definitely a hoarder.

“I don’t do much cooking here because I don’t own a cooker. I don’t have the room and the facilities.”

The surfaces are piled with dirty dishes and rubbish and more horrors lurked inside the fridge.

Opening the door, he revealed: “Bacon, probably been there six months to a year. “Cheese has probably been there a year. It’s a bit mouldy. I wouldn’t want to eat it now.

“Tuna, Probably been for a couple of years. It’s a bit discoloured now. I should probably throw it out.”

He added: “I don’t worry what other people think. If I’m happy living like this what’s it to other people? I live how I want to live really.”

Terry – who starred as a comedy sidekick in Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show for a year from  2010 – has developed diabetes because of his weight and suffers from ulcers on his feet.

He admitted: “I can’t use ordinary scales because my needle goes right round and I don’t get an actual reading.”

But he revealed that he TURNED DOWN a life-saving gastric band op offered by the NHS – because he likes eating.

He said: “I turned down a gastric band from the hospital. Why waste the money if I’m not going to stick to it.

“Food is comfort. It makes me happy.”

He is seen taking a cocktail of medicines – washed down with cola – and says: “I don’t pay for my medication.

He said: “Being on benefits and being diabetic is tricky because there’s not always cheap alternatives out there that are good for you.

“The other day I went shopping and my bill was massive because I bought fruit. Even the apples were one or two pounds when you’d probably get a multi-bag of crisps for £1 or under.”

Terry, from Swindon, drives to his mum’s to cook and is seen eating a doorstep sausage sandwich containing a whole packet of bangers.

And after struggling to walk over 100 metres on a shopping trip, he said: “The weight doesn’t help it. At school they called me fatty and lardass, I didn’t fit in because of my weight, That’s why I’m a bit of a loner.

But he insists: “Diets are a waste of time.”
