Devastated teen mum ends engagement after realising her boyfriend slept with her BEST FRIEND the day before he proposed
Megan and Dylan, who appear on MTV's Teen Mom UK, had only been engaged a couple of weeks
A TEEN mum was left devastated after being forced to break up with her cheating fiancé just weeks after he proposed.
The split came as 17-year-old Megan discovered boyfriend Dylan had slept with her best friend in the couple’s car, the day before he proposed.
A heartbroken Megan packed up the couple’s caravan, which they live in with son Mckenzie and park in the driveway of Dylan’s family home in Essex, and moved back in with her parents.
Appearing on the first ever series of Teen Mom UK, Megan told the cameras: “We’ve only been engaged a few weeks, but I think it’s all over between me and Dylan.
“He slept with my ex-best friend. Well she was my best friend, but she’s not anymore. So I haven’t got my rings on anymore, because I just think ‘what’s the point?’
“How could you sleep with my best friend in our car a day before you asked me to marry you?
“Dylan is the only person I have ever been with in my life.
“And everyone tells him how lucky he is to find a girl like that, because most other girls are not like that. They’ve been with at least five boys.
“I do love Dylan. I love him so much and it just hurts me that he would be able to do something like that, and ruin everything we’ve got, and everything we’ve been through.”
The couple met at army cadets two years ago, and Dylan was Megan’s first ever boyfriend.
Before finding out about Dylan’s lies, Megan said: “Dylan and Mckenzie are the best thing that ever happened to me.
“At 17, I’ve got my perfect little family – and I couldn’t be happier about being a mum.
“No one thought me and Dylan would last, but we’re about to prove them all wrong.”
Dylan proposed to Megan at home in their caravan, when they were sitting in bed. The sparkler was white gold with a big, square cut diamond – and Megan was delighted.
She said: “I was so shocked because I thought he got me a phone for Valentine’s Day. I didn’t ever think that it’d be a ring, especially one as nice as this.
“So I’m very happy at the minute, very happy.”

The bling even impressed Megan’s disapproving mum Sonia, who said: “Dylan did you pick this yourself? You did a good job didn’t you? Well done boy.”
Sonia was keen the couple should get hitched soon, but the couple had different ideas about what they wanted from their big day.
Dylan was dreaming of getting married abroad on a beach, with just his bride-to-be and son at the ceremony.
Whereas Megan wanted a Winter Wonderland themed big day, inspired by something she had seen on Don’t Tell The Bride.
Megan told the cameras: “Me and Dylan can’t agree on anything, but I think a big wedding is exactly what we need to bring the whole family together.
“I love being engaged, but life doesn’t feel very romantic right now.
“I’m at home all day looking after Mckenzie, while Dylan juggles three jobs to support us.
“But even when Dylan doesn’t have to work, I sometimes feel he’s in no rush to come home.”
On the show, the couple were seen bickering about whether or not Dylan should go to the pub after work, in a car conversation overheard by granny Sonia.
A defiant Dylan said: “Why have I got to tell you if I’m going to the pub? If I wanna go to the pub, I’ll go to the pub.”
To which Megan replied: “Go to the pub then, and don’t come back!”
When Dylan asked: “What’s the big deal with me going out once a week?” his lady said: “Because then you moan that you’re tired, and your son doesn’t know who you are, and doesn’t like you.
“Maybe if you stayed home when you were so tired then he might.”
Dylan stuck to his word and headed out for a few beers, leaving Megan wondering: “Why did Dylan ask me to marry him if he doesn’t want to be around? This doesn’t feel right.”
