Firefighters film ghostly activity in station kitchen as mug swings back and forth on its own
The firefighter swore that no trickery from them had taken place
IF Ghostbusters has told us anything, fire stations and spooky happenings go hand-in-hand.
Lompoc city firefighters, based in California, have captured a video on their mobile phone of a 'ghost haunting a mug' in the fire station kitchen.
The footage filmed on Sunday night shows a mug hanging above a kitchen counter, rocking back and forth - apparently on its own.
The firefighter who captured the creepy clip vows that no trickery was involved.
This isn't the first example of an inanimate object spookily moving by itself lately, after hotel guests were left petrified after a haunted water bottle slides across bedside cabinet.
Ghost enthusiasts are undecided if the mug itself is possessed or if there is a ghoul moving it.
In the Facebook post, a firefighter wrote: “For years, people have said Fire Station 1 is haunted.
"Out of nowhere Sunday night, we captured this unexplained video.
“The mug even appears to speed up as the video goes on.
“We promise, nothing has been doctored or manufactured.”
Within hours, the bizarre footage has already been viewed more than 1,700 times. Facebook follower Wendy Legr said: “Awesome! Perfect timing, it being Halloween and all.”
