Greggs are launching a DELIVERY service, bringing sausage rolls and pasties to your door
The popular high street bakery chain are introducing the service in Newcastle with a view to expanding it nationwide

Greggs are launching a new delivery service, meaning their famous sausage rolls and stottie sandwiches could soon be delivered straight to your door.
The much-loved bakery chain, based in the North-East, is trialling the scheme in Newcastle with a view to expanding it nationwide if it’s a success.
The lucky guinea pig store is located in Cobalt Business Park in North Tyneside, where its jammy 14,000 workers will be able to order their sarnies, salads, sausage rolls and sweet treats direct to their office door.
Amy Carroll, communications manager at Cobalt, told : “I am sure Greggs Delivered will provide a popular choice for our businesses catering for meetings and for people who just fancy a team lunch.
“This service adds to a host of fantastic lunch options staff at the park have to choose from which include their own canteens, The Village Hotel Starbucks, bar and restaurant, Cobalt Central retailers, the fantastically popular Tasty Thursday pop-up restaurant event, plus a host of outlets locally at the Silverlink and Northumberland Park.
"Staff will be spoilt for choice."

This comes hot off the heels of the news Newcastle is officially the Greggs capital of the UK.
The city has a whopping 29 outlets, more than three times as many stores as the national average.
Next on the list for Greggs Delivered is Newcastle city centre, followed by branches in London and Manchester.
Greggs recently unveiled its new ‘healthy’ options, with more low-calorie and gluten free choices after successful trials over the summer.
