The Chase viewers left in stitches after Harry Redknapp gets football question embarrassingly wrong
FOOTBALLING legend Harry Redknapp was shown the red card by The Chase viewers last night after getting a crucial question about the beautiful game WRONG.
The former Queen's Park Rangers manager's embarrassing blunder meant he crashed out of the celebrity special, having been just one question from home.
Harry managed to notch up £5,000 in his cash builder round and decided not to gamble by taking The Chaser’s higher offer of £90,000.
And he almost made it home, with his final question seemingly a blessing as it was based on football – the former England player’s specialist subject.
Host Bradley Walsh asked: "The tune of 'The Stars and Stripes Forever' is used for which football chant?"
The options were Here We Go!, Glory Glory Man United! and You're Not Singing Anymore!
Harry seemed confident as he pressed the buzzer, opting for the infamous Manchester United chant.
As Walsh hummed the popular tune, Harry quipped: "It can't be Here We Go, Here We Go, Here We Go, can it, surely?"
Walsh replied: "I don't know, I can't even remember what The Stars and Stripes Forever sounds like."
But The Chaser, Mark Labbett, had opted for Here We Go! - and it turned out he was right.
