‘Go f*** yourself Susan’

The Chase contestant takes a minus offer…and fans of the show are furious

FANS of The Chase love to chat about the show online, and they wasted no time in passing judgement on one contestant.

Susan was slammed for taking a minus off on last night's episode, which saw her team's prize pot plunge by £5,000.

At the start of her go, the team had amassed a pretty significant £17,000.

Susan was then given three offers. She could take an offer of a massive £73,000, one of £3,000 or one of minus £5,000.

It might seem weird to offer a minus figure, but if it's taken the contestant's round is easier so there's more chance they're in the for final.

Susan's teammates couldn't agree on what she should do, with one pushing her to go for the big bucks and the other advising she opt for £3,000.

It's safe to say neither Gary or Mike wanted her to take the minus amount though, which is just what she did.

It didn't even help them that much either, as the trio ended up leaving with nothing.

Predictably, Twitter users were outraged.

"Like I always say, if one person is selfish the whole team never wins. Go f*** yourself Susan," Roos wrote.

Harsh words indeed, but ones which summed up what a lot of people were thinking.

As Emma Geldard fumed: "Yes! Glad the Beast won, feel sorry for the two guys but snaky Susan deserves FA!"

Another suggested Susan was as useful as "a condom machine in a church", with one guy calling her "a useless lemon".

Twitter user Adam said: "The best bit is they didn't win and everybody knopws her for the slime ball she really is!"

If you're wondering if The Chase viewers are always so mean - they're not.

In September they couldn't get enough of sweet granddad Eamonn, who wanted to win some money to see his grandkids.

Plus they probably shouldn't have been so shocked, as there some things that happen during every episode of the The Chase without fail.
