A DAD-of-two who had a gangsta phrase tattooed on his arm in large letters when he was a teenager has admitted it was a huge mistake.

Ben, 31, from Manchester, decided to get 'Bad Boy' inked on his forearm when he was younger but now the family man regrets his decision.

Speaking on Channel 5's Tattoo Disasters UK, Ben said "I'm not a bad boy, I've got a massive mistake on my arm."

After getting a job at aged 17, Ben had cash to splash and as he'd "always liked tattoos" he decide to make a trip to the tattoo shop after a boozy afternoon in the pub.

While in the shop, he spotted his perfect inking, but instead of going with the one in the book, he asked the tattooist if he could have red and black because they were his favourite colours.

The next day came and Ben recalled the moment he saw his tattoo in the cold light of day, "waking up sober the next day I was like what is this?".

Now, 14 years later, Ben is a responsible family man with young children and a partner called Victoria and he feels embarrassed about his inking.

"When I had it done I was young and immature," he says.

And Victoria definitely isn't a fan, telling the show: "I hate it, I'm embarrassed to go out with him. I would chop his arm off if i could because I think it's so disgusting."

The dad-of-three had previously tried to get his tattoo covered but he was told it was "too big, too black, too thick and bold," so he decides to opt for removal.

Later in the show Ben visits a tattoo removal place and while he has to go back for treatment every eight weeks until it is completely gone, he says he's "100 per cent pleased with the results."

Although the tattoo will take weeks to fully remove, Victoria and Ben were both happy with the results of the first removal session

Another person who is overjoyed is Victoria, who said she was "very, very happy" and that "at long last I'll have a good boy not a bad boy."
