Bali killer Heather Mack reveals why she helped murder her mum and then put her body in a SUITCASE
Heather is serving a 10-year sentence in Bali
A WOMAN who is serving a 10-year prison sentence for helping murder her MUM and then forcing the body into a suitcase says the crime was "half premeditated".
Heather Mack, 20, and her boyfriend Tommy Schaefer, 22, were found guilty of beating her 62-year-old socialite mother Sheila von Wiese-Mack to death at the St. Regis Bali Resort in August 2014.
Her body was found stuffed inside a suitcase which had been left in a taxi.
Wiese-Mack had taken her daughter on holiday so they could have a fresh start in their relationship, and she apparently didn't know Schaefer would be on the island too.
Mack was pregnant at the time, and she gave birth to daughter Stella, now 18 months, during her trial. Now she is caring for the little girl while she is in prison in Bali.
Mack has spoken about the circumstances around her mum's death to TV news magazine Crime Watch Daily, revealing she and her boyfriend had a brutal argument with her mum before her death.
"I think it was half premeditated and half not," she said, .
"In my head I never thought it [the murder] was going to happen, but in my heart sometimes I wanted it to."
Schaefer admitted killing Wiese-Mack during the couple's trial, where they faced death by firing squad.
He was put behind bars for 18 years, with the pair both serving their sentences at the tough Kerobokon prison.
In the new interview, which will be aired in the US on Thursday September 29, Mack discusses her fraught relationship with her mum.
Her dad, composer James Mack, died in 2006 and things became difficult after that.
While on the holiday in Bali, Mack claims her mum got drunk and things were unbearable. This was when Mack asked her boyfriend to come to Bali - she claims she told him she was going to kill herself.
He got there on August 12, with Wiese-Mack's credit card used for his £9,200 plane ticket.
She was furious when she found this out and confronted him in the hotel.
