Five short years ago the nation’s sweethearts touched down in Canada as newlyweds doing their first official tour of the country.
Throughout the tour Kate’s outfit choices were scrutinised and admired by the public back home and after a series of style successes she was hailed a fashion icon.
This weekend the Duchess of Cambridge once more landed with her husband on Canadian shores, this time with two adorable children in tow.
Only two outfits in and the nation is already swooning over her stunning design choices.
The first was a striking royal blue dress by Jenny Packham.
She teamed it up with a matching blue hat from Lock & Co, adorned with blue maple leaves and the Queen’s diamond maple leaf brooch.
She followed up her initial ensemble with a playful number for her arrival in Vancouver yesterday.
The intricately designed frock was by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, the same designer who made her iconic wedding dress.
Kate paired the outfit up with some co-ordinated accessories- he signature style move these days.
So with the success of her first two days so apparent, the nation is gripped to see what else Kate pulls out of the bag during this week long trip.
During her 2011 tour, the Duchess made waves with a series of highly admired outfits which launched her into the realms of style icon.
Kate landed in Canada and started with a visit to the official residence of the Governor General of Canada wearing a navy lace dress by Canadian born designer Erdem which she wore with a pair of her signature nude shoes from LK Bennett.
She went on to celebrate Canada day sporting the nation’s colours white and red.
She opted for a cream Reiss dress with a daring scarlet hat from Sylvia Fletcher for Lock & Co.
The queen-to-be also attended the Canada Day evening celebrations in Ottawa, where she chose a regal purple Issa dress along with an Anya Hindmarch clutch bag and black Prada heels.
One day three of her visit, Kate opted for a demure grey dress by Kensington based Catherine Walker as she strolled around the Canadian War Museum.
She teamed the dress up with a pair of silver heels from Tabitha Simmons.
Her day four outfit was once again by Canadian favourite Erdem and was once again teamed with her favourite LK Bennett nude pumps.
The Duchess of Cambridge rounded off her trip by dressing in a stunning red dress and jacket ensemble.
She borrowed the Queen’s maple leaf brooch, as she did again this year, as a symbol of patriotism for her host country.
