Watch Strictly Come Dancing judges Bruno and Craig before they were famous in these hilarious throwback videos
As the hit dancing show returns this weekend, we have dug out some old footage of the two stars
STRICTLY Come Dancing is waltzing back onto our screens tomorrow, with the usual fearsome foursome on the judging panel.
But Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood haven’t always been so scary – as these two throwback videos show.
Before he shot to fame as a ballroom pundit on the BBC show, Bruno was seen camping it up in Elton John’s I’m Still Standing.
And the costumes were hilarious.
The Italian dancer prances around in a leather thong, leather vest and military cap before being tipped by Elton at the door of a posh venue.
Then he’s seen in leather trousers and jacket, with no shirt, dancing with scantily-clad group of dancers.
Finally Bruno, now 60, dances up a storm in some red leggings and vest top – showing off a suspiciously large bulge in his dance pants.
The video was made in 1983, over 20 years before Strictly Come Dancing hit the small screen.
Craig also made a high profile appearance before he was a household name.
The Aussie judge cropped up in a Louis Theroux documentary about struggling actors in 1999.
As choreographer on the stage production Mr Producer, he is seen auditioning hopefuls in Off-Off Broadway.
