As Mel Gibson reveals he’s expecting his NINTH child, we look at some of the biggest broods in showbiz
'If we can deliver for the full 80 minutes then we have the game to beat anyone at the World Cup — the Aussies included'
CELEBS certainly don't do things by halves - not even having children.
From Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's brood of six children, to Eddie Murphy's nine kids, they seem to adopt a policy of 'the more the merrier' when it comes to having a family.
Mel Gibson is the latest star to announce he's expecting another addition to the family with his girlfriend Rosalind Ross.
While it might be the 26-year-old's first child, Mel is a seasoned pro at having kids.
The actor has seven children with ex-wife Robyn Moore and a six-year-old daughter with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, meaning he'll become a dad for the ninth time when the baby arrives early next year.
But Mel isn't the only star with a big brood.
Here, we take a look at some of the stars with the biggest families in showbiz.
Eddie Murphy
Like Mel, the actor is a dad to nine children from previous relationships.
Eddie has five kids, Bria, 26, Shayne, 21, Zola, 16, Bella, 14, and Myles, 13, from his previous marriage to Nicole Mitchell Murphy.
As if that wasn't enough hard work, he also has 26-year-old son Eric with Paulette McNeely, 25-year-old son Christian with Tamara Hood Johnson, nine-year-old Angel with Mel B and, in May this year, he and girlfriend Paige Butcher welcomed their daughter Izzy.
Phew!
The Jolie-Pitts
They're one of the most famous families in the world - and there's quite a few of them too!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have become parents to six children together since they first started dating in 2004.
While Ange adopted Maddox from an orphanage in Cambodia in 2002 and Zahara from Ehiopia in 2005, Brad also chose to adopt them in 2006 after their relationship became serious.
The couple had their first biological child Shiloh together in 2006, adopted son Pax from a Vietnamese orphanage in 2007 and she gave birth to their twins Knox and Vivienne in 2008.
Sadly the couple have announced their split and Angelina has requested physical custody of the children.
Kris Jenner
She's momager to six of the most famous stars in the world, so becoming a mum definitely paid off for Kris Jenner.
The entrepreneur had Kourtney, 37, Kim, 35, Khloé, 32, and Rob, 29 during her marriage to lawyer Robert Kardashian, before they divorced in 1991.
She then married Bruce Jenner - now known as Caitlyn - and added daughters Kendall, 20, and Kylie, 19, to her brood.
The rest is history!
Jude Law
The Alfie actor must be a very busy man, what with five kids to care for.
During his marriage to Sadie Frost, Jude had three children Rafferty, 19, Iris, 15 and Rudy, 14.
After a short-lived relationship with Samantha Burke, he became a dad to daughter Sophie in 2009.
Then in 2014, it was announced that his ex-girlfriend Catherine Harding was expecting his baby.
He became a dad for the fifth time when Ada was born in March 2015.
The Beckhams
David and Victoria Beckham aren't just one of the most successful couples in the world - they have one of the strongest family units too.
Since their infamous relationship began in 1997, the pair went on to tie the knot and become parents to four children.
In 1999, they had their first son Brooklyn, Romeo followed shortly afterwards in 2002 and their third son Cruz arrived in 2005.
Then six years later, they welcomed an addition to their brood with their first daughter Harper.
Like their parents, the Beckham kids are set to take over the world!
Sean Combs
The rapper - also known as P Diddy - has been a busy man over the years and now has six children to his name.
He first became a dad to son Justin back in 1993 with his childhood sweetheart Misa Hylton-Brim.
Diddy then went on to have three kids, Christian, 18, and twin daughters D'Lila and Jessie, nine, with on/off girlfriend Kimberly Porter, while he's an unofficial stepdad to her son Quincy, 24, from a previous relationship too.
Five months before the twins were born, he also became a dad to Chance with a woman named Sarah Chapman.
Charlie Sheen
The controversial actor has five children from various relationships.
He first became a dad during his relationship with high-school sweetheart Paula Profit in 1984 when his daughter Cassandra was born.
Charlie then wed Denise Richards and the pair had two kids together, Sam, 12, and Lola, 11.
They divorced and the Two and a Half Men star tied the knot for the third time to Brooke Mueller.
The couple had twin sons Bob and Max in 2009, before a messy divorce in 2011.
