A woman in Macedonia has claimed that surgeons have accidentally connected her colon and vagina in a botched cancer operation, leaving her farting from her vagina.
Jasminka Velkovska was in hospital to have a cancerous tumour removed from her colon but after the operation she quickly realised that something had gone wrong.
In an interview with a local TV station Jasminka said: “While I was recovering, doctors came and asked me if I was passing gas, and I said yes, but it’s coming out of my vagina.
“They told me that it would soon pass and I would be OK, but stuff had started to come out of my vagina and I was feeling scared and it was all very unpleasant.”
Jasminka has spent the last three years battling for compensation over the incident and gave the interview in order to increase the pressure on the hospital.
She claims that they failed to remove the tumour and needed another operation, although she went to a different hospital second time around.

They eventually agreed to an out of court settlement in the amount of £25,700, but Jasminka says that they are yet to pay nearly £10,000.
The Hospital Manager Sasho Stojcev has responded saying the hospital is not able to pay the damages without a court order and that the compensation was not fully covered by their insurance.
They claim that the outstanding payment does not fall to the hospital to pay, although documentation does not make it clear who is responsible.
Jasminka is natural unsatisfied with the service of the hospital and with their subsequent excuses, she says that she intends to sue the hospital if they do not pay up remaining amount soon.
