There are witches and wizards, ghosts and ghoulies and even the occasional zombie apocalypse to content with.
So here is our round-up of the most entertainingly terrifying Halloween events around the UK.
Halloween Zombie Pub Crawl - London
Dig out your scariest, most terrifying fake-blood drenched outfits and join a team of brain-dead, flesh-eating zombies as they groan and sway their way from Soho bar to Soho bar.
There are prizes on offer for the best fancy dress, and the bar crawl takes place on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday – so take your pick.
With professional actors driving you around the ghostly sights of the city, the stops include Ghoulygate, the River Ooze, Treasurer’s Hearse, Skulldergate and Gravesmire.
Guests should be prepared from some scares and surprises aboard the old funeral bus.
Guests are terrified with an adrenalin fuelled mix of haunted rooms, eerie open farmland and frightening forests.
Each more scary than the next, they are based on chillingly realistic storylines.
There’s also a street theatre, side shows and a zombie paintball smash to sink your teeth into.
Dr. Fright’s Halloween Nights- Northamptonshire
