Amazing photos show body art lovers getting inked at Italian tattoo convention

BURLESQUE dancers, plenty of flesh and a lot of body art were all on show this weekend at an Italian tattoo convention.

Ink lovers came together in the stunning city of Turin at the Tattoo Artists 2016 convention.

As well as getting the chance to be inked by some of the country’s top artists, the illustrated Italians got to admire each other’s elaborate artwork and swap tips an design ideas.

The annual event is running from 16 September to 18 September at the Palavela and many are taking the opportunity to get the needle.

And it all looks pretty painful.

Body art addicts were pictured having new designs added to various parts of the body,  including the back and legs.

But the one that made us flinch is the lady having a tattoo on the back of her head – which has got to result in a corker of headache.

Ouch!
