Jeremy Kyle’s most bonkers mystery is FINALLY solved with jaw-dropping lie detector results
It's the saga that had viewers on the edge of their (toilet) seats
THE most bonkers mystery in Jeremy Kyle’s history has finally been solved.
Viewers were given answers today about who pooed in Aunt Eileen’s fridge.
The disgusting dispute went viral in May after Eileen accused her sister Mary and nieces Theresa and Cathleen of the foul act.
The trio have always maintained there innocence with Cathleen protesting at the time: “Everyone knows how clean I am!”
In today’s episode, the women returned – without Eileen – to take a lie detector test.
Jeremy tried to reassure the trio who all looked extremely nervous and embarrassed.
He said: “It’s been a bit shocking the outcry, hasn’t it?”
Much to the women’s delight, the results proved that none of them were guilty of leaving faeces in their relative’s fridge.
Cathleen explained why they returned to the programme: “I am so embarrassed.
“But I’ve come here today just to clear my name. It’s disgusting and pathetic what [my aunt] did.”
Theresa added: “I’d rather be dead than poo in someone’s fridge!”
Jeremy Kyle admitted it was the most shocking story he’d had on the show.
He joked with the audience: “My life’s getting worse by the minute.”
Poogate has amused the nation with many taking to Twitter to air their views on the results.
Zara Towne wrote: “‘Who pooed in my fridge’ has to be the best Jeremy Kyle story out there.”
While Abbie added: “#whopooedinthefridge @itvjeremykyle this is actually the best segment on Jeremy Kyle by far” – followed by emojis of a crying laughter face and a turd.
Kyle Shaw commented: “Hahahah Jeremy Kyle is going off tho morning! Lie detector results for ‘Who pooed in my fridge?'”
However a social media used called Helen Wootton was unhappy with the result: “Jeremy Kyle #poogate was a disappointing finale.”
Following today’s results, The Jeremy Kyle Show tweeted: “Since the show Kathleen, Teresa and Mary say they are glad they came to the show to clear their names and are all getting along together.”
We’re glad this loo-py drama is over…
